Señora Yorky Burnas-Arnold was educated at the Universidad Católica de Valparaiso and the Instituto Profesional Chileno Britanico in Chile. Her specializations were English and English as a Second Language. She moved to the United States in 2000 after teaching for 12 years at the Tronwell School of Languages in Santiago, Chile. Señora Yorky taught for the Georgetown County School District and is currently employed as the Hispanic Ministry Director for the Georgetown Presbyterian Church. Señora Yorky brings her love of music, dance, and theater to our faculty here at The Georgetown School.
