In an effort to make our program at The Georgetown School accessible to every child in the community who would like to go to college, we have enlisted the assistance of  School and Student Services, a non-profit service organization associated with the National Association of Independent Schools.

Families seeking financial assistance for tuition at TGS may submit an application and requested documentation to SSS.  SSS will use the applicant’s financial information to produce an estimate of the applicant’s acceptable level of tuition.  This process is confidential—all of your financial information will be known only to SSS.  SSS will send The Georgetown School only the recommended tuition level.   This is very much like the process that you will encounter when applying for financial aid for college tuition in a few years.

Click here to be directed to the SSS Application page.

When you fill out the SSS Application, our school number will be required.  In order to receive our school number, you must have completed an Admissions Application to The Georgetown School (which is separate from the SSS Application.)

If you have any difficulties with the process, please let us know and we will try to assist you.   The fee that SSS charges is intended to defray their cost in providing this service and no part of it goes to The Georgetown School.   Furthermore, The Georgetown School of Arts and Science admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally recorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, hiring practices, and other school administration programs.
