ASC Returns to Georgetown
Based at the American Shakespeare Center in Staunton, Virginia, every winter the American Shakespeare Center’s world renowned company brings innovative interpretations of Shakespeare and his contemporaries to theaters around the country. For the last five years they have added Georgetown, South Carolina’s Shakespeare Festival to their tour. This year we look forward to not only an evening of theater with their Saturday Night performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, but also a school-day matinee, intended especially for Georgetown and Horry County middle and high school students but open to all students.
